Hidden Habits

The things we do when we're alone
are better left inside the home
Absent minded ticks that might
give civilised people quite a fright
Fingers poked down deep dark holes
Sticky stuff that's wiped on walls
Scratch and sniff or sniff and scratch
Pick and poke each lump and crack
Fragrant sounds perfume the air
Waft it round without a care
Each of us has hidden habits
No need for shame, we're all at it

I was hoping to have a poem about some blue tits for you this week but it’s coming slowly so in the meantime I’m just going with light hearted fun. Toilet humour is the easiest, I suppose that’s why is makes us laugh.
